Hello to the forum. Wanted to see if anyone would be kind enough to tell me if what I’m wanting to do is possible. I would like to use my technics turntables and at least 1 kontrol x1 with Traktor pro 3 and a pioneer djm-750mk2 can this even be done? Here’s a quick backstory to bring this full circle. I started mixing back in the late 90’s using 1200’s and an analog mixer. Played out some for several years then got away from anything other than mixing at home. A few years ago I found a regular gig that required me to start mixing digital music and to be honest it was overwhelming figuring everything out, but I ended up using a kontrol x1, Traktor pro 3 on a win10 laptop and kontrol z1 for a mixer. That gig ran for a couple years and dried up, now I’m back to mixing at home for fun. I now have a collection of vinyl records I would still like to play along with digital music. What I’d really like to do is be able to have my turntables and kontrol x1 setup so I can mix from a record one the turntables to the kontrol x1 or vice versa. It think the only thing I need is a 4 channel mixer with a sound card to do this but I truly have no idea. I’ve done some searching but I’m having trouble finding a similar case as mine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I’d be happy to elaborate if I haven’t made myself clear.

Hi, thanks for the question, I apologize in advance if I can be mistaken in something, because I had not dvs (timecode), but I think the equipment that you have is enough.
    Just watch this guide
    https://support.native-instruments....0000509157-TRAKTOR-PRO-3-Timecode-Setup-Guide

If you not only want to play vinyl, using turntables, but also manage digital recordings, then you need two vinyls with timecodes, here they are

    Also 750 mk2 are Certified

If you have any other questions, then please write, I will be happy to help

Thanks for taking the time to reply and the suggestions. I am trying to do this without using time code. I want to be able to play a combination of digital music off a laptop with the Kontrol X1 and my vinyl collection from my turntables. Is there any way to do this?

what's the problem now? you connect two turntables to channels 1 and 2 of the 750 mixer, to 3 and 4 you set decks 1 and 2 in the traktor, which you will control with x1. You expose the sound card 750

That’s kind of what I thought, I just wanted to be sure before I drop a grand on a mixer. I’m surprised that I don’t see more old schoolers like myself that have a similar setup where they want to play vinyl as well as digital in the same session. So do you think that the djm-750 is a good choice for this or are there other options. I prefer to invest in good equipment but would also like to keep the cost down if I’m doing nothing more than mixing at home.

I kind of played on 750 a couple of times, this is a good mixer, it will be enough, just connect it via USB and adjust the traktor settings, it should work out
