Is this the full version?

Hi, i just bought Komplete 5 full version, but on the box that was delivered, it says it's the upgrade version for owners of kore 2, komplete synths or komplete classics only. this is not the right version is it? or is this the same as the full version? I just wanted to check this before i open it and start trying to install it in case it needs to be returned. Thanks.

 

I'm just looking at my (Komplete 5) box right now... no mention of an "upgrade version". Don't open it! Same thing happened to me when I ordered Reaktor 5 a few years ago from Sam Ash. They sent me the upgrade version for users of Reaktor 4. I ended up keeping it because I forgot to return it on time then ended up buying Reaktor 5 anyway. So now I've paid for three copies! :S

Wrong version. Send it back!

That version will only work if you actually own (and have registered) the products mentioned in the Upgrade.

The one you want should say Full Retail.

I just got the same thing. I received a box with had a sticker of an upgrade from Komplete 3 to Komplete 5 as part of the Komplete 5 and Kore 2 bundle offer which I managed to find at Thomann. I contacted Thomann and they got back to me and told me that NI shipped full install version in the upgrade boxes recently, maybe as they cleared their warehouse from ALL Komplete 5 boxes in the past months.

I installed and authorised all software without any problem and managed to get both Komplete 5 and Kore 2 at a very nice price.

rec-it, I noticed that your original post is from late July, so I am afraid you returned your box already, but maybe there are other peeps with the same issue and they will know now that they got the full version of Komplete 5 for the kompletely insane price.
