I pre-ordered a Denon DN-MC6000 and since I'm in the US I'm planning on buying Traktor Pro.

With the 50% OFF it seems like a deal, but I've also heard a new update is coming out including samples (s4 features).

Would traktor charge for the upgrade?
or is it free lifetime upgrade?

Should I wait until next year or should I take the plunge?

I don't want to pay twice for the same software!

    Thanks.

even if it's payed, traktor pro is more than worth for what you are paying now

Even if a new update will coming soon, the actual TSP version is undeniably the Best DVS software in the market so i preconise you to buy it as soon as possible (31dec. last day)
Look these very low prices :
    179€ /traktor scratch duo (audio8dj soundcard)
    300€/traktor scratch pro (audio4dj soundcard)
both are very high sound card hardware

Traktor for ever ! Audio2-4-8 cards are the best ! Better sound quality than all the other cards. The sound of cards have much more better quality than the audio cds !
Dont buy anything else because after a few time you gonna sell it. I suggest Audio8 :)

How easy is it to Map Traktor Pro to Numark Mixtrack Pro. According to Numark there are no auto maps for this midi at present.

I thought that, then thought **** it! So I bought it, I had to get mine off ebay from the U.S.A it has just been shipped! (brand new)
It's still a good bit of gear. I'm sure native will do some sort of upgrade deal anyway.
Cant remember what website but it said new upgrade is due february/march don't hold me to that though.

I've been using this for last couple months and jury is still out. As a whole, I do like TSP and having that Audio-8 card is a dream for sure!

I kicked myself for not buying Traktor Pro last year during the 50% off sale and didn't hesitate to grab it this year. This software is an absolute joy to use. I practice almost every day. I'm really glad I splurged the extra few bucks for Pro instead of Duo.

If you're ever going to get this software, get it now while it's on sale. I'm not terribly impressed with the MSRP. You can even buy the boxed software from a local reseller and they should honour the 50% discount.

EXACTLY, even if you don't "plan" on using 4 decks, having those extra audio in/out ports work for a slew of different things.

Bought it for $99 at a local store.

    Hope it's worth it! ;)

    no question about that!

I NEVER had that "Yes I'm home.:" feeling with a software before, after just 4 days of working!
    It's simple and really solid!

I paid full price about a month before the 50% off sale, and I still feel it was worth the price to play.

besides, if you get paid to play out, it's all a tax write off anyway.
