You play out with Final Scratch anywhere?

I will be doing as soon as my FS2.0 arrives.

Have played a few times with FS 1.5. One time was near you at Electrowerkz and went fine. Next time was at The Asylum and it worked on only one deck, then gave up half way through on the other deck!! Hmmmmm

I have played out a few times using FS but it simply isnt stable enough, so I end up using CDJ1000s or vinyl. I play Funky House, and just cant have the tune skip while beat mixing, as some times happens about 5 - 6 times in a set. I am just around the corner from ElecroworkZ, nearly played there. I have played with FS at Chill Bar and Pool on Curtin road, also at Turnmills I am also gonna demo FS2 for the boys in Westend DJ when they get it in stock , then hit the clubs with it and see how I get on, but is gotta be stable.

The Pool Bar you mean? Know it well. Some friends put a night on there (WIDE).

I play hip hop amongst other stuff, and to be honest, my style of mixing 9cutting/scratching) never worked with FS!!

Got my name down for the FS2 as soon as it hits the shops!

Never bought anything in Westend though the guys have always seemed friendly enough when I went in there.

Went in and had a go on the Numark CDX thingy - and was v impressed!

 

Yeah Pool Bar, cool place, can find me in there most weeks, playing or get drunk (or both!)

I have problems with FS from 1.0, and that was with house, I hate to think of the hassle with Hiphop Beats and the like.

Westend DJ is the dog bollocks for me, brought some kit off them a few years ago, and never left them ever since, had CDJ (beats the Numark CDX hands down) ,1210MK5G, FS to name but a few bits kit I got from them, I have now got to know the staff well, and they always keep me up2date with the info on FS, but most of the time, I know more then them, from reading the various forums.

When u next out playing with FS or around central london, reckon we should hook up to discuss FS

I'm the same with Sapphires in North London. Bought my decks from them about 8 years back, and all DJ stuff i've bought since has come from them!
