Issue at Trakroe startup

Hi all

Recently, i installed Traktor on version 2.1.1 with Hercules dj 4-MX.
No issue with Traktor and hercules dj 4mx for the mapping but when i start Traktor it lags and i hear the same sound when you connect a usb device. It makes it around every 10s.

Any idee about this issue? Thanks a lot

Hello,

It may be a computer optimization issue, if you are in Windows, you may optimize your computer settings:
- turn off the wifi on your computer (each time a Windows computer scans the wifi environment, it takes up to 50% CPU ressources and the sound lags)
- disable Windows preset made to cut the power and crash the streaming on the USB in order to save energy,
- disconnect your computer from the internet, turn off the antivirus and firewall,
- if you are in Vista, disable the aero display (the first optimization of a Windows computer is to avoid Vista, and use either Windows XP or Windows 7)
- make sure you use your computer on its power supply (not on its battery)
- check if increasing the ASIO buffer size helps.

If you are in Mac OS, the issue is probably not related to system optimization as Mac OS is already optimized.

 

After a lot of check I found what is wrong.
It's an issue with one of a HID driver in the device manager.
I tryed to update it but without success so i desactivated it.
