Issue with GRIDS & Traktor Pro 2.6

NI Forum,

I just downloaded 2.6 and noticed that when I upload a track and preview it, the grid is fine. Sometimes minor adjustments are made, but nothing out of the ordinary.

If I happen to upload the same song since I noticed the gain didnt set properly, the grid is all messed up. I have to upload it again and again until the grid locks back to normal.

Anyone else having this issue?

I've had the same problem. My beat grids went a little doolaly since updating to 2.6.0. I also lost my play history i.e. whenever I played a track the tick would be visible but when I loaded another track the ticks would disappear.
I spoke to the Help Desk and I sent them a video clip of the issues, sadly they couldn't figure out what was causing the problems. Any way I decided to uninstall 2.6.0 and reverted back to 2.5.1 and I've not had any problems since (touch wood)

 

u can set up disable auto gain when loading a new track in prefensers set up,so every time u load another track the gain will follow your external mixer or controller,u can tuning your self,turn the advance view mode,below the deck viewing will show move,loop and grid,use that grid function to set up the your new cue marker,for me when i make a new grid,1st step is find the cue point u want,then delete the original grid point and set again the point u wanna cue..remeber delete the original grid and cue point before u make a new grid point,if not the grid u made will be hot cue 2,when u drop a new song traktor will automaticly help u make a grid point,some song the grid bar will not correct then u must make it yout self...
1.find the cue point u want
2.delete the oriiginal grid point
3.made a new grid point u want

follow the step then your grid bar will run correctly

u must backup all your setting and mapping files before u upgrade to another version...
preferences>export>save that TSI file..and after u install the new version,import it back that TSI file u Backup..or when u install the new version it will ask you need to copy all the backup from your old version..just click yes
