    Hello everyone
    I'm trying to solve this
I installed drummica shortly before it was discontinued (april 2020)
it shows up in native access when i click "activate" on the kontakt player

i have kontakt 6 full version, but it doesnt show any options to activate on NA.. I can't uninstall it either...

Maybe that's the non-Kontakt Player version then, so you don't really need to activate it.

    thanks for your fast response
well, i certainly need to activate it for it only runs for some minutes before it blocks out and asks to be activated.. sometimes it does it right from the get-go..
i downloaded your upload but not sure what's different, everything seems to be pretty much the same as the download i got from sennheiser..

Actually this link is working and gives a full working version, although your Kontakt has to be pointed to the right directory for the samples. After a resave (takes 10 minutes at least!) everything works just fine, no activation etc.. The link EvilDragon has on the next page, with the .RAR file in it, is the Demo version and needs activation.

So to wrap it up: https://drummica.b-cdn.net/DrumMicaV1_0.zip this link gives you the full working version without activation, only you have to manually point Kontakt to the right directory for the samples. Resave afterwards and you're all set.

I have just redownloaded and tested the file from the CDN server and can confirm the broken file has finally been replaced with a working copy that can be unzipped with no errors.

The new working copy has a file size of 4,004,371,087 bytes and an MD5 hash of 5299e4296042e866abeb44273cebc779. It contains 13,754 zipped files (all valid) and it is identical to the file that was previously sent to me privately by the DrumMic’a! software product manager.

    Mission accomplished!

First post here, hoping someone might be able to help.

I've been using DrumMicA with the free Kontakt Player for years, it's the only NI software I own. I use it daily for guitar practise (much nicer than a metronome!) I registered before the new break between NI and Sennheiser, so my install kept working fine, that was until today.

I am not sure if it's a Kontakt Player problem, or a DrumMicA one, but I'll try to describe what happens.

Today I started KP/DrumMicA as normal, it loads the samples, it finds the drum pattern MIDI files as usual etc. But when I double click on a MIDI file to load it, nothing happens, it doesn't get "loaded" into the little box above (next to the Play button), and no audio plays/no MIDI indicator lights etc. That was weird enough, so I started clicking around. Even stranger, is that now when I click any of the Beats/Drums/Mixer/Mic Sel/Option grey boxes, they turn red, but that "page" doesn't load. I can click all of them, and they all turn red, but it stays on the Beats page. After a few minutes, they turn back from red to grey, but the page stays on the Beats page. It's very, very strange. Do you think I should try uninstalling and re-installing from scratch again? It's like the whole KP/DrumMicA is borked...

I will try to upload a screenshot so you can see all the grey boxes selected red.

EDIT: Should mention I'm on Windows 10 64, and am using the Kontakt 6 Player, version 6.5.3.

P.S. If I cant get it working, can anyone recommend something similar, a standalone app with a real drum kit sound and loads of patters I could use instead? I don't mind paying if it's good.

Just a follow up, worked it out, for some reason Kontakt had switched it's driver from ASIO to WASAPI which was completely borking everything. Set it back to ASIO and all is fine again!
