I'm having random problems when bouncing certain battery midi tracks to audio in logic 8. I'll use the kick drum track as an example....

When i begin bouncing the kick track, the very first kick sample in the midi region is muffled or cut off sounding. After that, the rest of the track bounces fine. I have the exact same issue with the snare track. The first sample sounds like it hit caught too late and only part of the total snare sample was played (hope that explanation made sense). Something else to note is that after trying over and over again, it finally played correctly. But this was after several tries.

Do you know if there is maybe a setting that i either have on or off that is causing Battery to run slower during a bounce? It's like Battery is not "ready" when the bounce gets to the first sample in the MIDI region.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like you may need to quantize the first notes? Or perhaps they are doubled. If you recorded while loop was enabled, and played the drums out, rather than programming them with your mouse, you may have recorded one note too many, and overlapped the first note. Try moving the offending kick and snare in your editor, seeing if another note is hidden behind it.

    Hope this helps.
