I'm rewriting this post. I resolved some of the install path issues the Cremona Quartet was giving me. I had to fiddle around and I finally managed to get the installer to bring up a file selector but its not obvious.

The biggest problem is I can't install the Stradivari Cello.

There's other error messages I have to work around but the final error message that comes up in front of the install screen is:

"Stradivari Cello Installer Mac.pak can't be installed because the Digital signature is not trusted
The package may be corrupted or tampered with. Get a new copy of the package and try again"

I downloaded the iso again from a friend and "get info" has the 2 isos with identical sizes.
Can anybody please tell me how to get this fixed.
    Thanks.

    Hi Jojo123,

it is kind of a longshot:
    - disconnect your computer from the internet
    - reset your time and date to a point in the past, where you installed this .pak without any problem. (If you have never successfully installed this vi before, then maybe setting the time to 10/2020 might do the trick)

I'm assuming, that there might be an issue with the digital signature certificate. Even though it is quite odd, because the stradivari cello version 1.0 is from 09/2020. Also, regarding no one else seems to have this issue, the problem might be in your system.

Could you also give us the other error messages? Maybe they give a clue to why this is happening and working around them cloaks the matter at hand.

Does this error also occure, if you install this .pak from another drive/storage device?

Still it is very confusing that just this sole vi can't be installed.

    Hi Ruhkar,
Thanks for your response. Not sure if you've seen it but I started a thread where there's been more discussion about this vexatious problem.

    https://www.native-instruments.com/...talling-isos-please-help.457701/#post-2109813

I'm new to NI so never installed anything before. I agree that this is very odd. VERY ODD. I have the iso's on two external SSDs. It won't install from either. Arkhis and the 3 other cremona quartet instruments I installed from the same drive.

I'm waiting on Support who is going to give me another link to try another method. Hoping I can get that before Friday as I'll have to go to someone else to download it. I've used up a good part of my datacap for this month.

I tried putting the date back a year, and no that doesn't work. I'm not sure if running a checksum after the fact tells me much but both isos came up with the same result. When I tried to verify the isos, before I ran a checksum, disk utility told me it couldn't verify them because they had no checksum.

I think Jojo123 pasted the wrong link there, I think this is the thread he was referring to:

    https://www.native-instruments.com/...elp-me-get-stradivari-cello-installed.457785/

Unfortunately I have too little experience with MacOS to be of much help here, but I am following all the other tips and comments as best as I can. If time permits I also plan to check my theory about "feeding" Native Access download items yourself but that would be on Windows.

For what's it worth I really hope you get this resolved Jojo!

This one looks more like it, thanks!
Concerning the feeding Native Access theory:
As far as I understand it, Native Access is just a tool for downloading, unziping and organizing the sample libraries and installing the instruments tools and updates. So in theory it should accept the isos, when being put in the correct folder with the correct filename. I think I even did that a few years back, but the memory is a bit blurry....
If you don't have the correct filename, maybe starting the download again and looking up the name in the download folder might give a hint how to rename your file.

    A more recent feeding theory:
I did a backup of all my installed instruments, formatted my SSD and put them back on this SSD. Also I reinstalled Native Access on another SSD. Resetting the file locations in the Native Access preferences did work. Nevertheless NA thought the files were in need of repair, but that was done without redownloading the data from the NI Servers.

So.. It would be a wild workaround, but maybe installing the instruments on another MacOS (if possible) via Native Access and copying the instrument libraries on an external drive might do the trick. Unfortunetaly it wouldn't save you the trip to your friend to download the whole stuff again..

I will head over to the other thread for any news to that topic.
Best of luck to you, Jojo!
