Issue's using UC33e with traktor pro

Soooo.....i downloaded a .tsi file for my uc33e and imported it through enigma and imported the tsi file onto traktor pro through the preferences but nothing seems to work when i turn the knobs.

I have tried just about everything i could think of to get this controller to work so i can start dj'ing with it but nothing. i turn knobs, push faders and buttons and there is zero response to the software.

any ideas?

i am running a macbook 2.6ghz with 2 gigs of ram, audio 8 dj, and the uc33e.

if anyone has any experience with the uc33e i look forward to your response!

 

download a midi tool (google for midi monitor) and check, if there`s some incoming midi when you move a fader. (just to be sure it works)
then, go into setup in traktor and check the settings (is your controller activated)
also check audio&midi setup (app within utilities folder / apple-shift-U) to be sure.

and what did you do with enigma?
i think, you`r just suppoded to download the file, store it somewhere on your hdd and import it from within controller-setup.
you shouldn`t need enigma for this.

 

everything is connected properly.

still no interaction with the hardware and software though.

what i did with enigma:

the template i downloaded had instructions to program the xml file into the controller through enigma

im not sure whats going on. midi signal is fine in traktor, and in midi monitor
