Issues with Z1 and Traktor DJ App + iPad

I was blissfully happy with Traktor App on the Ipad until I decide to use it with the Z1. Some stuffs doesn't work properly like the left Fx button (the right one and all other functions seems to be ok). The phone output doesn´t work as well. I simply cannot hear the cues working individually. Both iPad (MP2F2) and Z1 are very new. If I was in NY I could just exchange the Z1 for a new other one at BH Photo, but a friend brought it to me here in Brazil and I´m just five thousand miles away distressed. Does anyone have any tip?

 

Did you tried using the headphone output in your Z1?

About wrong controller response you can try to check it using a desktop app like midi OX (midi monitor) since the iOS driver is hardcoded into the app and Z1 doesn't work in midi mode with any other iOS app as far as I know...

 

No problem with my Z1 and iPad Air or iPad Pro 10.5 here. Try connecting it to a Mac and update the firmware. And check your connections, especially the iPad port for lint.
