Its 2016 and still no critical updates for this controller

I buy 2x kontrol d2's before 10 days but i'm so sad because its look like you don't need to watch at your laptop when u use this controllers.
This is not true, because this ultraviolet waveform gives you almost no information about the track u play. How i can see where are the vocals ? How i can see what is the type of low eq ? The display is coloured so what is the problem to put spectrum waveform?
You make Kontrol S8 at 2014 after that you make Kontrol D2 + Kontrol S5 at 2015 and nothing changed
Now we are 2016 and i still cant see this controllers to have options for spectrum waveform? WHY? This is traktor hardware using traktor software and don't gives you control of important features of software ?

Next question:
When we will be able to make custom maping ? When i want to play a effect i need just to HOLD a fx button ? There are lot of effects that need to be configure with custom mapping to use them...

Maybe you should have done some research before buying.

You can create custom mappings. Either use the performance section or switch the controller into full
Midi mode.

 

this is old post and if i switch into midi mode will display of d2 work ?

 

If you map the performance section you can still see the displays.

 

and everytime when i have to switch at midi mode i have to click some button.....
click button make effect click again button.... this is shame

You are absolutely correct - these are the most often requested features for our
display controllers (S5/S8/D2) and we get these requests quite often.

We allready have 2 feature request in our database and these functions are beeing
worked on.

• TP-8711 - "Spectrum Waveform on S8/D2/S5"

• TP-8075 - "CSI Overmapping in Controller Manager"

Unfortunatly i cannot tell you when these functions will be added to our display
controllers, because we are not allowed to communicate release dates, new feature
additons or added functions.

But i can assure you that we take these improvement requests very seriously and we
are working on implementing them.

With such a price tag we would expect more frequent updates. Especially as there are still a couple of flaws to address here and there. I guess the user base size dictates the developer's time allocated to the project.

 

We're still waiting for an update...
