    i was just thinking :

what if they created a keyboard hardware controller that has a MODULAR design, with (for example) one built-in standard module(like Kore 2 for example) + different slots for controller modules?(which are available as a separate purchase).

you know, like them having certain hardware controller modules, which you can build in yourself by removing a plate, make the connection, and boom, done.

    so,in the case of modules,i'm thinking :
-sixteen endless knobs & buttons module, including lcd display.
-8 fader(motorized and non-motorized options on that)module, with buttons and lcd display.
    -X-Y controllers module.
-16 drumpad module with 4 pad banks(which has Maschine's pads)

now, these keyboard controllers should be available in 3 versions(all having the standard module built-in) :

-a 25 key version with one additional module slot.
-a 49 key version with 2 additional module slots.
-a 61 key version with 3 additional module slots.

    now,on the software side :
the software automatically adapts to the installed modules, and automatically lets you know if certain parameters are mapped to modules that aren't present in YOUR setup, and will ask if you want to remap them(if you only have the basic module built in).
and in the case of different modules(between users),it will ask you if it has to distibute the controls to modules present on your controller(which, again,is user definable).

i'm really curious as to what you guys might think/suggest about something like this.
