Itunes added dates change on import to collection

Trying to set up new machine and when I import music collection from Itunes it changes the import/added to dates??? I have tried everything from copying nml. from old traktor to fresh installs and keep getting same result. When Itunes is originally accessed from browser tree in traktor everything is fine. Once imported it changes dates within traktor. Would REALLY appreciate any help on this...

 

did you double check what hapened after you did the import, closed Traktor and opened it again (so the new collection is loaded) I know that this "fixes" a similar problem Rekordbox has. If I recall correctly iTunes honors the date setting under the Language & Region settings in the system preferences. This can cause some problems as well.

On a different note:
if the filepath to the track changes (different MacOS user or harddrive name?) then the import date would reset since it is considered a new entry by Traktor.
