JOG mode

Hi, I've 2 DENON Sc2000 with traktor 2.5 and my question is:

Can I use the JOG as VINYL MODE when the deck is stopped and the JOG as PITCH BEND mode when the deck is playing?

I ask this because i like working with the JOG in BEND mode, but when the deck is stopped and I want to search a cue, the movement of the track is too slow for rewind for example in BEND mode.

Hi josemgmalaga,

First thing, you need to find pitch bend (jog turn in commands) and then set this as modifier conditions:

Play/pause /corresponding deck/ = ON (work only when that deck is on play)

Second thing, duplicate that command and increase rotary sensitivity for this encoder, then set modifier like this:


Play/pause /same deck/ = OFF

Has the jogwheel scratch : pitch bend function gone from the list now?
That used to be the function you want. Pitch bend while playing, seek/scratch while the deck is not playing.
That combined with the scratch on function, so that if you enable the function the jogs can be used for scratching during playback. The scratch on function is usually mapped to the touch sensitive bit on touch sensitive platters (or deleted from the mapping so you can't enable scratch mode by accident).

Yes the sc2000 have touch sensitive jogs.
In my cdj-900 y can scrach/seek even when VINYL MODE is off and the deck is not playing. I would like that function on my denon sc-2000.
In my sc2000 when the decks are stopped and the vinyl mode is off, i can't scratch and with this issue, is very slow to look for a CUE for example.
Anybody knows where can i download a good TSI file for my denons sc-2000?
