that´s (once again) absolutely strange, one steped automation and one totally smooth as it should if you havn´t set something
that influences the midi data - will try it with maschine studio and my beloved A49 in ableton

Couldn't that have to do with different grid settings?

How exactly do you tested it (midi mode or recording from kk plugin) - I own a A49 and a maschine studio maybe I can deliver some support.

MIDI Mode does not have an issue (in my case), DAW integration does.

Good point.. That would explain why the A/M series are not affected by this bug.

D-One Indeed. We need window user to confirm if they are experiencing this or is a Mac OS only bug

I just tried it in my Windows system, with Ableton, same results:
    - "MK3 Integration" Is terribly jerky.
    - MIDI Mode works fine.

It's obvious just by looking at the recorded automation. So, this is not an OS exclusive.
I made a mistake and switched up the names of the tracks but yall get the point.

I've reported the MK3 issue and had no reply. The KK team is aware and will look into it but it's not the highest priority right now, they should fix it, when.. idk.. Keep an eye on this thread.

Any update on this? Do Logic 10.6/KK 2.5 fix the issue?

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. Wait, you are saying that this issue *can* be fixed? By having the MK3 on some kind of stand? I thought this was a software bug specific to the Mac in conjunctions with the KK/MK3 screens?

no, i may have used the word "upholstering" wrong, what i meant to say was completely replace them. My only solution was to send it for repair.

no idea if it was only specific to macs, because that's all i use.

Thanks for the clarification. So you’re saying that the issue was fixed by replacing the knobs or something ?

D-One do you know anything about this? I thought it was a software bug. Anyone from NI can shed a bit of light..?

Honestly that’s the only thing holding me from buying the KK keyboard:(

Nop.. On the KK side the last reply was 2 years ago, the first report itself is 3 years old.
On the Maschine side it's been 6 months, no reply either.
No reply doesn't necessarily mean it's not ''logged / acknowledged" by NI tho... So, IDK...

What Keyboard are you looking to buy? You can try asking in the KK Forum.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll try to add ask over the KK Forum and see if I have any luck. Anyway.. I’m thinking to buy the S49 MK2 or the 61 keys one. Does it make any difference?
