Kind of because It doesn't affect all the keyboards, the M32, for example, doesn't have this problem, the A-series probably doesn't either but the S49 MK2 does. :S

I see.. So the problem has nothing to do with faulty knobs in your opinion? Is it the screens? I guess this affects also the DAW automations, panning, etc?

If that’s the case the every S series keyboard is affected:( It would be nice to have an official statement from NI about this..

EDIT: How you like editing plug ins & Kontakt instruments with your M32? Do you miss the screens?

No. It's how the software/firmware deals with the resolution and "hysteresis" I think, the knob itself works just fine... This issue only affects "DAW Control" (a mode where each knob controls a DAW track volume channel for example), nothing else, i'd say that's 5% of the keyboard's features. No, panning has a lot less resolution than volume faders and it doesn't affect general automation of KK's instruments because "DAW Kontrol" is not for that stuff in the first place.
Altho this issue is annoying it's far from a dealbreaker IMHO.

I miss the LED Guide the most for instruments that have key switches or different stuff per key like Drums Instruments, the screens are cool but TBH I am ok browsing from the computer since it's faster for me. I tend to use the M32 more because it's tiny and always on the desk, for simpler chords, baselines, and such... since the S49 is on a stand I only use it for more 'serious' playing.
