So I just got Battery 3 and love what I see and hear. I've heard alot about Native Instruments but haven't went the lengths to really get familiar. I've been using the Roland Fantom X6 (EXPANDED n ALL) as long as I've been into (pop, hiphop,r&b)music production (1 yr. & 1/2) straight and love the sounds and the results I've gotten out of it. There's always that debate of hardware quality sounds vs software, but that's another topic. Anyway I've somewhat exhausted the sounds on the keyboard to where I'm ready to turn it up a notch now with more quality industry sounds(bigger/harder drums, more expressive instruments,& synths). I got reason4 five months ago and got so-so results. Percussion, some drums(and thor) are good though. But the program coming from a techno background and finding out for myself the sounds aren't meshing well for me. I'm looking elsewhere to get big sounds like ur tritons, fantoms, motif's etc.. Point blank_____> With all the above said, how much more do u recommend Komplete 5 opposed to the program above? I totally understand its the person not the program, but this person does not dig the sounds of REASON4. N.I.
already got me sold with Battery alone lol.

Well, If you already like Battery and are looking for more expressive instruments than your average workstation sounds
(don't get me wrong, I don't own any of the hardware synths you mentioned, so I can't compare NI's stuff to them), then I think you can't go wrong with Komplete 5. There's lot in there, from straight to weird stuff, and everything in between, and the sound quality is top notch, imho.
But, my best advice would be, to check it out for yourself, and download the available demos of the single products of this package.

    Cheers :)

Komplete has amazing variety and power. I'd recommend it.

I have 40+ VST instruments including those in Komplete and I use the NI products for 90% of my needs. I also find myself very heavily using programs I wasn't primarily buying it for (eg. Elektrik Piano, Guitar Rig and Reaktor) -- there's some great stuff in there. Get it - you can't go wrong.

utlimately we all end up buying komplete... if it wouldn't be for a missing convolution reverb in guitar rig (the convolution reverb avaliable in kontakt, with reverse and everything) i'd say it's perfect.
