So I just got Battery 3 and love what I see and hear. I've heard alot about Native Instruments but haven't went the lengths to really get familiar. I've been using the Roland Fantom X6 (EXPANDED n ALL) as long as I've been into (pop, hiphop,r&b)music production (1 yr. & 1/2) straight and love the sounds and the results I've gotten out of it. There's always that debate of hardware quality sounds vs software, but that's another topic. Anyway I've somewhat exhausted the sounds on the keyboard to where I'm ready to turn it up a notch now with more quality industry sounds(bigger/harder drums, more expressive instruments,& synths). I got reason4 five months ago and got so-so results. Percussion, some drums(and thor) are good though. But the program coming from a techno background and finding out for myself the sounds aren't meshing well for me. I'm looking elsewhere to get big sounds like ur tritons, fantoms, motif's etc.. Point blank_____> With all the above said, how much more do u recommend Komplete 5 opposed to the program above? I totally understand its the person not the program, but this person does not dig the sounds of REASON4. N.I.
already got me sold with Battery alone lol.

    Big Block of text!:p

I am guessing the program in question here is Reason?

Well Komplete 5 and Reason a two different kinds of beasts. As you probably know already Reason is an all in one solution, and Komplete will be your all in one sound solution, but it is not a sequencer, and you will need a sequencer if you wish to produce music, which I guess you might already have as you are using Battery.

Komplete is going to be great man, seriously. I own all NI Synths, Reaktor, Kontakt 2/3, Guitar Rig 2/3. etc...I think that is everything that comes with Komplete, except I did not buy them all at once (doh!) That being said I have a Smörgåsbord of sounds at my disposal, and also the ability to create new ones (teach a man to fish etc...).

I can't compare Reason 4's sounds to Komplete's, being as I have not used nor do I own Reason. But I can tell you this, you won't be disappointed with Komplete if you are hoping to buy a product(s) with a great variety of sonic possibilities.

Hope that helps, if you have any specific questions, shoot man.
