    hi just updated to 1.2.1

Have a gig this evening and just found out no cdj's there yet so going to use my vestax vci and send single output from the audio 8 to the sound system. Set traktor up fine but have problems using the vci - must admit haven't used this in awhile as i went to scratch pro for timecode use and since then didn't need the vci and couldn't work out how to set it up to use for decks 3+4 whilst using cdj's and timecode for DECKS 1+2

Main issue is when attempting to scratch instaead of spinning the sound just slows down and audio output sounds like it's being crushed...

in preferences controller manager i can import a vci map from traktor folder (assume this is the new one to use) yet i only get generic keyboard listed so i'm guessing it isn't seeing the vci properly - anyone got any ideas?

Since last using the vci i got it sent away for the firmwear update and swapped from windows xp laptop to vista premium

    thanks

it sounds like it might be your tsi, u might want to remap your vci! I had the same problem, the tsi that came with the update is crap!

    Happy Mixing!

i remember in t3 it just to recognize it as a device - seems more to me it's not being seen as a vci 100 at the moment - damn vista or stupid me for not doing something simple!

If no answer soon can see me having to take the 1210's out just so i can use the timecode vinyl!

In Settings, Controller Manager, Device setup, add a new device as Generic Midi, then specify the in and the out port for the VCI. Import your TSI and away you go!

Still having this issue. Tried with the settings you recommend. Problem is still using the scratch wheel - all it does is make it sound like the computer freezing - if you give a massive spin back it goes about 2 beats back... The fine adjust rings work fine just can't get the jog dials to work like they should

With the track just loaded and vci in non vinyl mode can scratch fine - as soon as track is started lose this ability though. Pressing vinyl mode button then doesn't help...

    Any help at all?
