Curious to how K2 and Logic work together.

AS a VST, you can only access 16 channels of the 64 channels in K2.

Does the AU version, or what ever version Logic uses, access all 64?

    Thanks

for the most part it works okay. AFAIR you can only access 16 outputs per plugin as an AU in Logic, but their 7.2 update will increase that number to 32 outputs per plugin.

BUT... there is a nice little bug in K2 that has been there since the 2.0 release that STILL hasn't been fixed!!!

K2 won't playback the first note that your SPL is at...

Let's say you are working on a drum track. You have a drum hit at bar 5.1.1.1. If you start Logic from 5.1.1.1, you won't hear that drum hit - only the notes after it. To hear the drum hit at 5.1.1.1 you have to start Logic a little bit before it.

It's a known bug. Doesn't happen with Kontakt 1.5 or any other plugin I use in Logic.

Pain in the ass and I don't use Kontakt as much as I would for that very reason.

OMG! so that bug is known? great! i just thought i need to go to the psyhiatrist..:) it's so annoying thing. in the cycle mode it doesn't play the first note when u hit play (space button, whatever). kontaky will play this note after a second cycle - of course if u keep your hads out from logic for a while..:)("running without interruptions mode")

thnx kenn for the info, hope the logic users will get an update soon!

btw., have u contacted the NI tech support team?
