Anyone else found this? I load up the Legato Cello patch into Kontakt2 (on my centrino notebook) - everything from bottom C to D# is silent! Everything else is fine. If I go into keymap I can see and audition individual samples - they just don't play!

    Any help hugely appreciated!

    cheers

Yes, I discovered this yesterday too.

Also a couple of notes at the top end are missing, despite being "mapped".

I found the individual samples, and they sound okay ... so I suspect it is a mapping problem. Can we please have these corrected NI ?

Can we also have the password to the legato script ? ta.

I also discovered that the Violin mapping "diagram" seems to bear no reality to the actual mapping on the keyboard.

    Hey guys,

The password to all the protected scripts that are stock to the library and shipped with Kontakt 2 is, "password".

About no notes being there, try checking the levels on the zone and group the samples belong to. Also, check the loop editor to see if a sample is even loaded in those zones in question.

K2 Legato Cello missing notes - a solution!

OK, NI have just emailed me to confirm that this *is* a known problem with the Script processor and here's the workaround until the next patch:

"I just found out that you can fix this for yourself by doing the following:

In the Script Modul you see the three \"Function Keys\": \"Ghost\", \"Release\"
    and \"Repetition\".

The numbers which are entered in these fields are set too high. If you put them
    down to - for example - 33, 34 & 35 - you won\'t be confronted with this error
again. Simply save the instrument with the changes to your hard disk (replace
the old one), and it\'s done."

Haven't tried it yet - I'll report back soon.

    Cheers!

Great ! That solves the missing bottom three notes ... now, just the top two notes are missing.

    thanks.
