    Hi,

Am I dreaming or K2 is not synchronised to Cubase SX3 ?
I just put the step saquencer to the volume in a pad and it seems to not follow the rythm !!

You need to setup the step modulator (which is what your referring to when you say "step sequencer", correct?) frequency knob to be tempo synced. Just left click on the little black area in the value box to the right of the value (this is for the frequency knob in the step modulator) and you should get a drop down list with different note settings.

Once you set sync, you can still move the knob to do multiples of that sync value, so make sure it's at 1.0 if you want a single 8th note; 2.0 would mean 16th's, etc.

Of course, it is done !! I set the step sequencer to follow easely the rythm of Cubase metronome and they are diverting.

Press the master kontrol button at the top of Kontakt to open the tempo settings. Make sure "External Sync" is activated. If it is, make sure the BPM value is the same as Cubase... If it isn't, then I'd report a bug.

Then you either did not sync the step modulator correctly, or there is a problem with Cubase sending the host tempo information to Kontakt 2. If the latter is true, then fill out the support form and send it to NI.

Anyway, it's the same with a normal pulse LFO : set it on a constant loop note like a pad. The pulse LFO on the pad volume at 100% then turn the LFO frequency to follow HitHat (quater note, depend your song) and listen : sometime it follows the HH, sometime, it is against.

yeah, i experience the same with Live being the host.
the sync drifts so bad, like in less than 2 bars it's gone... a nightmare.
