K4 / activation: another issue

i know this has been discussed before, but things are still a bit different, so please somebody is still willing to help me?

okay, my problem: i got k3, installed everything, activated - no problems. i then got k4 as a free upgrade, installed everything - so the plugins pro53, vokator, spectraldelay were overwritten. after installation i successfully activated every plugin except those three.

i talked to another NI-user, he told me about a workaround that i already imagined myself and executed on my second pc-system:

i installed pro53, spektraldelay + vokator from k3 and did not over-install it with k4. now everything works fine - but it seems that the versions are older and cannot be updated:

- main pc / k4 installed: pro53 3.0.3, vokator 1.2, spektraldelay 1.6 (if i remember correctly) > cannot be activated

- 2nd pc / k3 installed + k4 partially: pro53 3.0.3, vokator 1.0, spektraldelay 1.5 > latest available updates, perfectly working

so, my question is: is it some kind of version-redundance? as i cannot download newer versions for k3, have the version-numbers simply increased for k4 although they are the same versions?

if not, how can i activate the missing 3 plugins?

No, - you didn´t exactly what I did, - read my last post in german forum carefully, please !
Obviously you tried to install your K4 UPGRADE (!) alone and without having K3 on the machine in the 2nd step of installations you did, - as written in your description in the german forum.

What you did in the 1st step of installations was right and by this reason, all was activated, - only versions of older plugins from K2 / K3 possibly weren´t the latest ones. That´s all.
If you would have updated your already installed K3 versions before upgrading to K4, - all would have been fine IMO.
