K9U and Classic Reverb! DL problem!

i went to the K9U Download Page, scrolled to the bottom, clicked on the For PC (RC24_Downloader) but the file is only 13.5 mb. when i download the file and try to install it... it looks for an application to open the file. not sure what is going on here... any information would be great...

 

I had the same problem. For some reason my laptop would not see the files properly and would look for an application to open them. I was able to download the files on my desktop pc and run and download the files, and the transfer them to the laptop. I still don't know why the laptop would not see them so I can't really help you there.

 

thanks a ton! same problem... i downloaded the software on my desktop and it worked perfectly... the mixing tools that come with K9U combined with izotope's alloy 2 and ozone 5 i think i have my mixing/mastering tools covered for a while... thanks again...

 

Same problem here. How do we use these files? I've saved them to folder, but don't know how to run them.

 

Now I don't even know where I got the links from. I guess I need to wait my 24-48 hours. :/

 

Ok I think I know what's happening here now. The computer does not recognize these as .exe files.
Try renaming the file and add .exe on the end of the file name (ie RC48_Downloader.exe) and now you should see the file icon change and you should be good to go.

On another topic, do you have any idea where I would have gotten these files from? I've gotten no NI link via email from them. What I treid to download and from where at mid-night last night is becoming a mystery. :/

 

Any idea where to download these files? I haven't got the email yet. Tried to do it via the Komplete 9 Ultimate downloads section and I get a 403 Forbidden error message.

 

Missing RC 24 / 48 issue solved?

Download the demo version of RC 24/48 and re-activate KU 9 and I think you'll be in business...

I got my links from NI and had the same issues. Long story short, ended up downloading the dowloaders from another computer, running the downloader on it and copying the files to mu studio machine.

One thing to point out was that either Windows or my anti-virus software did not like these and would not let them run any which way. Once everything was local and I had the massive file on the machine, it ran just fine and painless.
