KA6 iOS powered usb hub

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a powered usb hub for using the KA6 with iOS? Trying to run Traktor DJ through it.

I had a belkin hub that stopped providing power and a couple other off brand (link depot) hubs and none have supplied enough power. Mostly this just leads to the USB led flashing and no output through the interface. The worst problem I had was with the most recent hub I tried which caused the KA6 to repeatedly switch on and off, not a good thing.

Im having exactly the same problem.

It would save a lot of time and effort if Native Instruments would just recommend a USB Hub to work with its hardware. I have been back and forward to the shop 3 times now to get one that works (All have been USB 2). This whole support fiasco is a joke. I've just spent £200 on a Komplete Audio 6 and have to keep looking in a forum for help due to a total lack of information supplied by Native Instruments.

Its a bit like buying a computer in the 80's. Ask your mates + Trial and error.com

 

What generation ipad are you using? I am using an ipad mini and I wonder if it is a lightning issue. Also the h7 could be the right product because it can supply more than .5 A through its fast charge ports. An official word would be great. I'm now at 4 different hubs tried.

 

i have a 3rd gen ipad with 64 gigs..

the h7 fast charging ports are only for charging not for connecting a device..

i read somewhere here, that Karlos (forum mod) uses a H7. so do the guys at NI, according to him.. dont quote me on that
