    Hi,

i've go a little phenomenon, I would like to solve.
I got an KA6 and the Output chanels 1-4 are connectet to a littel Phonic Mixer, and a Set of Numark M20 Monitorspeaker is connectet to the Phonic.

With this Setup, i get a lot of static noise - and "mouse movement noice" (sorry, only these words could describe that kind of noise).
when i connect the M20 directly to the KA6 - same thing (so the Phonic-Mixer ain't the problem) - but if i plug Phones to the KA6 - nothin'.....
If i connect any other device to the M20 - nothin'...

now i would like to know, if there is a solution to "ground" all of them (KA6,M20 and the Phonic) , even if they don't have any kind of connector for this :(

    any Ideas?

Does the noise disappear if you try running your laptop on batteries?

    Dude, you're totally right!

I ran it on batteries - no problem.
I threw it into the dockingstation, there was it again.
Then I unplugged the KA6 - and it's still making noise...

Allrigt, so the KA6 is not the source of that annoying noise.
Good for NI, bad for me :(

Now I have to ask an electrician, what to so, since it has to do somethin with interference with the power supply....

Propably you have a problem with a ground loop. I solved this problem in another case with a humdistroyer / DI-Box, so you don't have to cut of the ground of your powersupply.
