Key Knob on Mixer

I sometimes use the 'Key" feature on Tracktor Pro Mixer while recording custom backing tracks. On the newer Traktor Pro updates, the default setting is now + or - 2.0. The previous versions of Tractor had default settings of +-.50. Could you PLEASE return to the .50 incremental settings, or make the 'Key' feature adjustable through the Preferences?

True, but that does not solve the problem.
In relative mode, it does not reflect the real position of the hardware knob on my controller. It must be "direct" and not "relative".
What we would need to change is the range of the key modification for this knob.

 

I don't use a midi controller. The 'Key' function has changed for no apparent reason. I love Traktor Pro, but these kind of changes just leaves one scratching your head.

I just wish the 'powers to be' just return it back to a default +-.50 setting . . .

Just give us semitone steps.

Key mixing is now impossible, so what's the point of having it?

 

Thanks for your reply. Heck, even the option to what range each 'click' on the + or - Key control in the 'Preferences' would be a fantastic addition. Right now in the current configuration, it's useless. PLEASE NI, address this simple issue!

You can rightclick the plus/minus buttons above the key knob to get the resolution popup. Select Fine to get semitone steps.

I got my Key semitones working the way I want them too.

 

The resolution selector works when you use the mouse.
I can't get it to work with my MIDI controller knob, where the values seem to be hardcoded to -12 / +12
