Key release problem with pedaling

I have a problem with using the sustain. The problem is, I can hear a distinct fadeout of the notes I'm playing when I release the keys, even though I have the pedal holding. This shouldn't occur, when I'm holding the pedal down, I should get a constant resonance, even after I release the keys. What I hear clearly, is when I release the keys there is a distinct dampening of those notes, and then it slowly fades. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using the Concert Grand D.

 

I've been having exactly this problem as well. It's been driving me mad! Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same trouble with Akoustik Piano. Is NI team working on an update?

 

Perhaps it's a question of polyphonie?

 

No it is a bug! but it's really curious NI team don't even answer to our questions in this forum. Was it a bad idea to buy a Native Instrument product? personnaly i will never buy an NI product any more...

just checking - you have got the CC64 set to "sustain pedal" (not just "controller only" or whatever) in the "instrument options"?
