Since I do a lot of sound design, I increasingly use Absynth which has become (beside FM8) my favourite synthesizer.
But one essential thing is still missing: Some good key scaling capability. It's almost ridiculous this magnificent synthesizer offers so few options to have the number or pitch of a note influence parameters.
I do know the pitch of oscillators and the cutoff frequencies of filters can be set to be either "fixed" or "note dependent" (transpose or ratio), and I do know there are some scaling tables for the filters, the oscillator amplitudes and FM indices, but (for example) there is no direct way to control envelope times by key or pitch.
Why don't you add (similar to velocity) the key or the pitch of a note to the list of selectable modulation sources? It could be used for time scaling in the envelopes or for morphing waves over the key range or for modulating filters halfway between "fixed frequency" and "pitch proportional" without the need of drawing in an appropriate curve.
There might be more things that can be improved in Absynth, but to me this one is the most important.
