I received my Komplete Kontrol S61 yesterday and am delighted with it. First question that springs to mind though is:
Is it possible to create a keyboard split, particularly to use with piano/organ sounds, where I can use chord and appegio functions in the left hand only and have single notes in the right?
IE: a setting which would apply those functions to one half of the keyboard and not the other.

You can create splits in the controller editor software but this is more for when using as a midi keyboard ,where you can't use the performance features
You can't do that in the kontrol software tho , unfortunately , you could feature request it.

Thanks Aldred. Took me about 5 mins to see the need for that. I'm surprised it's not in the wish list already. This thing is awesome and with a feature like that it would be ideal for live use by a guitarist come keyboard hack such as myself.
I will post to the wish list forthwith.
I did find some patches in the vintage organs with keyboard splits. Different coloured light guides and different sounds. Thought there may be a way of applying chords and scales to one of the splits but can't find it yet.
I would have thought it would be such an obvious requirement. Even my 15 year old Roland does that.
