thats it, nothing too fancy, just the option to set the pitch manually with the keyboard and not only with a variable scaled fader moved with a mouse/trackpad or midi controller.

im talking about setting the pitch like you can do in ableton or any regular daw where you can do type exactly the tempo you want with the keyboard, like 123.04 or 125.76 for ie..

    when to use it ?

for example, my last gig this past friday i was about to start playing after another dj who used traktor aswell, and as i play with 4 decks in internal sync mode, the fact of setting an equal pitch to the previous dj (meaning to mix without stopping the music between djs) its a little bummer because you can never set the exact same pitch as the other dj with other laptop and traktor moving only the pitch fader, you can set it very very close, but you have to bend it all the time...

most people can say "mix with control cds/vinyls and then, solved!" or don't be lazy! its quite easy as it its now, and yes they are totally right! in fact i only switched to traktor systems because of the posibility to set 4 decks with with internal sync, to play only with 2 decks i preffer to play cds ot vinyl. but i think this is a simple feature that doesn't hurt the funtionality of any kind of dj with traktor and can save a lot of time at the moment of the incorporation of a second dj to the main mix, specially if you are as much as drunk as i was last friday :O !

i think it can be a nice simple feature to add to upcoming versions...what you think ?

Set the internal clock as master, type the tempo into the display on the master clock panel.

yes but that requires to set the master cloak to X bpm, and then you have to disable inmediatly after mixing the first track because if master cloack is enabled no master deck can be set, meaning that each time you sync a track will be in sync with the master cloak and no with the deck....its kind of tedious to do it that way, although is a temporal solution :)

Well, that's how I mix internal anyway.

But I've got a button mapped that'll switch MIDI clock modes.

So; tap button. Type tempo. Tap button.

If this was in the manual I missed it. Great tip! Thanks.
