Keying Quality Issue

    I recently mentioned that using the key function does not sound well with some tracks (honestly with none of my own productions). While it is no problem to go +/- 4 with others, with the 'bad' tracks I can't even go +/- 1. The sound is getting awfully distorted on the heights, sounds like bad quality mp3. I tested it with .wav too though with the same result: some tracks are good others not.

    Ofc, for production it would be good to know what the reason is. As I read, most distributors accept/reduce sample rates down to 44.1 kHz, which was my best bet. Someone in a user group said it's uncleared resonances. Or is it something with mastering?

    Can you please post examples, especially when compared to eg rekordbox or others?
