I have a Komplete Kontrol A49 keyboard and I would like to assign the 8 knobs to specific controls within a soft synth in logic. It appears the knobs only control the faders on the first 8 tracks. Currently if I right click on a knob of a software synth and select the "learn" option then wiggle one of the knobs it still only effects the fader of the track. Is there a way for the knobs to not control the faders in logic and instead "learn" from other controls on any virtual instruments??

Thanks that was the problem! The PLUGIN button is also the MIDI button if you hold down the SHIFT key, and I wasn't able to see the word MIDI! I appreciate the help!

    bzyboy,

To simplify things look into using Logic's Smart Controls. That way you can map the A49 knobs once to Smart Controls, then set up Smart Controls for each synth you need to control.

I haven't looked much into that before, but I'll give it a look. Thanks for the suggestion!
