Subject says it all. I periodically find the Mixer light is out and all the navigate/control-surface functionality is gone.. Restarting Live, power-cycling the MkII don't fix it. Restarting the computer does. Any ideas?

Project includes: Mac Pro, OSX Sierra, Live 9.7.5, Ableton Push II

Instead of rebooting just try stopping and restarting NIHardwareAgent and NIHostIntegrationAgent

(Activity Monitor to force quit processes - then restart the apps from from \Library\Application Support\Native Instruments\Hardware)

Not sure if theres a similar case for Mac but on PC I had issues when use to have antivirus software (AVG) running it would stop the Push Process from working randomly. Took ages to figure out.

Could be something affecting the process somehow. Also I know that people have had issues with USB hubs on 3.0 ports on Mac with Ableton Push. Is your keyboard attached to an hub by chance?

    Thanks to both of you!
Kymeia, I'll give your idea a try the next time this happens and report back -- it sure sounds promising.
JesterMgee -- the MkII and the Push II are both connected to USB3 ports on separate Thunderbolt hubs. I may have to put Kymeia's solution on speed-dial if that turns out to be the problem as the computer is too far away for USB connections. [unsolicited plug for JesterMgee's stupendous preset packs btw -- I have Omnisphere, Trillian and Keyscape]
