KKS49 MK2 buttons not lighting up

I've had my KKS49 MK2 for a little over a year now and it's always worked perfectly. Today when I fired it up, I noticed pretty quickly that the Browse button wasn't lighting up. Then I realized that none of the buttons were. It has the most current firmware and all of my NI stuff is up to date. The lights over the keys, however, do still work, and they do change to reflect the selected Key Mode if I click on the scale light in Komplete Kontrol. They also change to reflect whatever instrument I'm using. All 8 knobs, the octave buttons and the mod and pitch wheels work as well. In order to move between settings pages, I have to physically click the button in the Komplete Kontrol software, but the changes reflect on the S49's screens. It's so bizarre... like only the bottom half of the controller is functioning. Attached a photo showing the selected instrument on the screens but the bottons not lighting up.



I tried to roll back my last few updates but that isn't working, nor is my system restore. This is my Windows version info:

OS build 19043.1288

Any ideas? I do have a pending cumulative update (KB5008212) but it seems updates never actually fix anything that's already been broken lol
