Was wondering if NI has addressed the glitchy knob issues when running Maschine on a tablet (jumping from 0-127 with no control in between)? Perhaps a script or something similar to AbsoluteMouseMode on Ableton Live that fixes this exact issue.

If anyone knows of anything, please pass on the info; would be appreciated.

I am experiencing the same issues. I just bought a Surface Pro 3 (max specs) in the hopes of having an powerful, portable machine that could run all my music software (daw, plugin-ins etc). The main draw for me was being able to produce and mix on the go without needing any controllers due to the touch capabilities. Typically, Maschine is my sketchpad where I begin new projects and ideas, which then eventually make their way into Pro Tools for refinement. While most of my software runs just fine while using the Surface's touch interface, Maschine is giving me the issues mentioned above. It seems that the knob issue is only in Maschine itself, at least in standalone. Any plug-ins,including NI's own Komplete plug-ins, that I load within Maschine don't have the knob issue, but every knob on the Maschine GUI basically becomes an on/off button.

Since Maschine is usually where I build the foundation for my tracks, this is a MAJOR bummer for me. I'm not expecting NI to release a "touch" version of Maschine, I know they have iMaschine for a touch optimized (albeit watered down) Maschine experience. I do however expect that if NI's other programs are able to avoid this issue, so should Maschine. I know this can be fixed, and I hope this gets addressed.

I'm seeing the same problem as i'm in the middle of testing Maschine on the Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3. You can get some numbers in between min and max using the pen very very carefully, but it's not a workable thing. Yeah we need some sort of config file to edit like with Ableton and then it would be an awesome combo.

Just to add that the mixer section is fine - it's just the rotary knobs.

This is all in software, right?
    No hardware knobs turned?

I have no clue what causes this, but I seem to have this on my main laptop, but I haven't noticed it on my tablet (yet?).

I read somewhere it could be because of some resolution setting, but I can't seem to find the post right now.

Yes, purely in the Maschine 2 software and only when using a finger on a touch-screen - it all works perfectly fine with a mouse.
It's the same problem on my large 23" Acer touch-screen that's attached to my desktop machine as it is on the Surface Pro 3 - so resolution is not an issue. You get the same problem in Ableton Live (but they have a fix for it) and in some places in Sonar - it's a thing with touch-screens and I guess the way some plug-in GUI's are implemented.

Anyway NI asked me for a video of the problem so hopefully that'll help them produce some sort of fix.
