Knobs not working

    I get the s4 like 4 months ago and like 3 weeks ago the knobs just stop working i send it to the store for the guarantee and they send it to NI so i get it again and it has exactly the same problem:

    Deck A, B and C knobs and filter knobs dont work at all
    Deck D knobs work I dont know why

    I tried lots of things that I read on the forum and in the knowledge pfp.
    I might send it back to the store but could it be possible that is just a configuration problem?

    I try to contact NI but i dont get and answer yet.

    maybe there is something you put in contoller settings? maybe try to reinstall traktor and see if its workin.
    else i have some problem with my efx on/off and one of the efx encoders.
    mine is 6 months old and i can tell s4 really isnt built to last !:(

    I really dont know i think is a hardware issue i try all drivers and configurations and still nothing :s any other idea?

    i think i have the same problem in the fx on/off im not very sure jajajaja

    It is probably an hardware issue. Open it, Connect it when turned backside and try to move some connectors, especially the yellow big one. If knobs start working, ask for a board exchange.

    If you open it you will void your warranty so that is not a good idea.

    I agree with Count Zero and as far as i know i can make stop working the hole s4 so the best advice is to send it to the warranty i guess right?

    if u have tried to reinstall traktor(uninstall s4 driver as well and reinstall).
    than send it for repair , but not sure warranty covers broken knobs!
    good luck!
    just dont open up s4 like they say warranty will be ended the second you open it up!
    i am going to send mine to local hifi repair to fix the headphone input, i just cant wait for months for ni warranty just to fix an headphone input which takes 15 min to fix :( and get a new contoller around new year(hopefully there will be some new good ones out than)!
