Komplet Kontrol Drum Kit Samples Not Loading

Whenever I click on a drum kit that I want to use, it comes up with a little pop up saying "Could not Load Plug In" I have checked all the settings, and all the drum kit files are in the plug-in folder, both in Ableton and in the Komplete Kontrol software.

 

What "drum kit"?

The "Plugin Not Found" error is basically exactly as it sounds... the VST plugin for the associated preset is not able to be located. If you know the VST that should launch you can check if it is in fact available by going Preferences > Plugins. If it is not listed, that is your problem.

Is it an NI plugin? 3rd party?

By drum kits I mean everything in the Battery Instrument. It is available as an option in Komplete Kontrol but it does not show up as a file or product in Native Access. Is their anywhere I can attempt to re-install it?

 

Well if it does not show up in Native Access are you sure you have a license for it? What version of Komplete do you own? If Battery isn't installed then that will be why you cannot load it. If it does not appear as available to be installed in your Native Access then you will not be able to install it.

 

I've been looking through my licenses, and I dont think I have a license for it. I was just confused because it still showed up in the library, even though I cant install it.

 

Wouldn't have thought they would install if you didn't have Battery so no idea on that.
