Komplete 10 Ulitmate Downloader - Multiple Problems

Hey,
So I upgraded to Komplete 10 Ultimate but the installer has caused me nothing but grief.

You can set your library location to any type of drive, ie ExFAT, Mac OS Journaled, APF share.
However, to download installer files you can only select a Mac OS Journaled partition. Why is that? All the others say 'insufficient space' . Even though I had 1TB free on my ExFAT drive.

Okay fine, so I dig out a 1TB hard drive, reformat it to Mac OS Journaled, and it allows me to pick that as the downloader install file location, while installing the actual libraries to my ExFAT 1tb drive, in a folder called SAMPLES on a drive labelled STORAGE.

It was all going well, well relatively. The downloader just decides to stop every now and again, so I've restarted the downloader about 10 times in 3 straight days. Until it gets to Session Horns Pro - Not enough space to complete installation.

This is entirely not true, everything else has installed fine, the Mac OS Journaled drive where it's putting the downloader has nearly 500gb free space, and the ExFAT drive where everything else has installed fine, has 565GB free space.

I open up Kontakt to check all the other libraries, and some are there but with no graphics, its just a blank block that has a browse button, ie Rise and Hit - completely grey box, with a browse button and nothing when you click it.

Others have graphics, but nothing in the browse folder. What mess is this? And why can I not get my Session Horns Pro???? Should I just start again and only tick Sesssion Horns Pro and Strings Pro? They are the only two that don't claim to be 'Installed'.

But now for the strangest thing of this whole mess, if I actually go to my STORAGE drive, and then to the SAMPLES folder, its EMPTY. The only thing in there is a shortcut back to the root of STORAGE. Totally bizzare! It's not an alias, I can't delete it, and dragging it to the trash tries to eject (the internal!) drive. What?????

Okay so I check in the drive and open Session Horns Pro manually, it claims 'You Can only install this software on the disk that is running OS X'


I would appreciate a response as my support ticket remains unanswered, although I figured that out myself. The installer simply doesn't support anything but Mac OS partitions. This should really be stated in the download literature. I have attached a picture documenting all the problems in one picture.

 

Update - Running the Session Horns Pro installer, my bad. I installed it to the Yosemite HD drive, and then afterwards it let me pick a location for the library. This is also misleading however, as the installer claims i need over 20GB on the drive i'm about to select. Anyway, that is installing now I think...

Also doesn't explain why it diddn't work like the rest of the installers.
