Installed Komplete 4 as an upgrade to Kore. But in the service center I can't authorize anything. I mean.. I already authorized Komplete 4, but during plugin validation, it asks me to run NI Service Center and authorize each plugin. However, the only new plugin that shows up is "B4 II", and as a SUB PLUGIN to that, all the other plugins show up. Then if I checkmark the B4 II (and all those in the sub-folders) and click next, all I can authorize is "B4 II", "Battery" and "Massive". And neither one accepts the serial included with Komplete 4. I am on a Mac Pro, OSX 10.4.9 btw.

Why is it that legitimate users get punished like this for buying your products? P*sses me off big time... What is the solution?

No help from support today? This is rather frustrating and it isn't the first time I bought a product which I couldn't use because of the copy protection.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. Have you send a tech support request via the support form?

These are the NI User Forums, and this sub forum is for general questions. For specific issues, you should contact our tech support directly.

    Regards, Thomas

I now got everything authorized except B4 II, thanks to trial and error, creativity and reading various hints on this forum. Not thanks to NI, mind you. I haven't heard back form the support form I wrote friday...

Installing/authorizing Komplete 4 is a complete MESS. You really need to get this thing sorted out. I shouldn't spend hours and hours getting things running because your copy protection scheme is seriously flawed - and I will think twice before buying more NI products, unless I _REALLY_ need them. And now, what if I change my hardware configuration, or if (when) I install Leopard or other OS X on my Mac, I will have to go through these horrors again. Jesus christ....
