    Hi,

I bought many products from NI : FM8, Reaktor 5, Massive, Battery 3 and Guitar Rig 3.

I am really interested by the current offer on Komplete 5 for 399$.
Is it possible for me if I buy Komplete 5 to sell the products I already own to other people?

Is it possible for me to sell the Products in Komplete or should I sell the ones I installed and do a licence transfert.

You need to sell the ones you already own - the various Komplete synths are still classed as one product.

I have Reaktor, Kontakt, Battery, FM8 and Massive - I just dont see the point in having to uninstall everything, going through the proces of unregistering, selling and shipping it around the globe, wait for the same software to arrive and then installing and registering it all again... it's a waste of my time, and certainly also a waste of NI's time? Not to mention the loss of potential sales because of the cheap licenses of NI products that are now available dirt cheap at forums such as KVRaudio.

Someone wise at NI (and I know you're there!) should've considered an upgrade-path for excisting customers to avoid all this license-transfering madness!

That isn't the first time that suggestion came up. The reply from another member was - they use to have one, but it got too complicated with the different price points.

I am sure it could be really complicated to manage in details.

Right now, I feel screwed, I bought all those plugs during the last year. Just with Reaktor (I bought few month ago) I could have bought the whole package. I dont get it.

Hey mister NI, something is still better than nothing :)

Then don't! I didn't. I had Massive, Reaktor, and Guitar Rig 3 LE. I've decided to keep The existing Massive and Reaktor licenses. I guess it just become a matter of whether the package has instruments that make it cost effective for you to buy. For me the acquisition of Kontakt and Battery alone was worth the price of purchase. Of course my philosophy of life has always been... "procrastination pays". :p

    Angry customer

I am so angry at this i cannot afford Komplete 5 atm but i own many NI synths Absynth, FM8, Battery and reaktor as i baught them seperately due to the fact that Komplete was so expensive now they are spitting in my face and laughing as a loyal customer i feel betrayed and think that NI are making a mistake in not supporting its loyal customers but ither giving them Komplete 5 free or at least allowing them to trade in the licence they have.

this is a bad more by NI who i will no longer support as a company unless they refund my products fairly i have more than paid for Komplete 5 at this price and dont see why i should have to pay again for the same products.

I disagree. Why does any company have sales? To bring in ADDITIONAL/NEW customers.

NI isn't "spitting in your face"; they just want to generate some additional revenue by adding customers.

Anytime a company offers a bundle, this usually means the bundle will be cheaper than the sum of the individual products. If it prices were similar, what would incent people to buy the bundle?

Given NI has had Komplete versions for years now, you had to have known that buying individual products (and 4 of them) would be an expensive way to go.

I have paid tons of money for Komplete 3, 4, & 5 and I am not angry at NI. I thought the products were worth their price at the time I bought them, and I have had years to use these products.

Just FYI, NI in the past did have differential upgrade pricing depending on how many products you owned, but that was impossible to administer, since all those different qualifying rules had to be built into Service Center.

Here is another way to look at it -- any of the past upgrades to Komplete 5 ALL cost a lot more than $399, and if you want, you can sell your existing products and buy K5 for an incredibly cheap price.
