    Hello,

There seems to be an issue with the way the Komplete 6 installer was built, with respect to its compatibility with Win 7 64 bit. It's possible that the items being installed require a higher level of permissions, for the installer to complete successfully.

If I don't run the installer as admin, the installer ends and Windows displays the "This application may have not be installed properly", and gives you the option of re-installed with the "issues" repaired, or of telling the dialog that all is well.

This seems to not happen if I run the installer as admin.

What problems do you get if you do not "run as administrator". And is that for the Komplete 6 Setup.exe or the Komplete 6.exe file?

Windows 7 can report "This application may have not be installed properly" in some trivial circumstances (can't recall what they are at the moment - I need to check).

    Hello Rob,

this message at the end is indeed a known issue. However, the installation is complete and works, so you can ignore this. It is also occurring with most of the update installers. This Windows 7 behavior has been improved already internally and all new releases will not drop this message anymore.

    Best regards,
