I just had to start this praise-thread about K7 because it's so good! I got it yesterday, been playing with it since and man it sounds so freakin awesome... all the 'real' instruments - whether its bass guitar, pianos, organs, drums, brasses - sound so realistic and the synth's can produce TOTALLY INCREDIBLE stuff and not forgetting the wide range of fx like Finger and Traktor 12 fx and Guitar Rig and all the sound manipulation possibilities, theres no limit what you can do with this package.. kudos NI, kudos! :D :D :D :D

I agree... although session strings is still pretty awesome to add to the other strings that come with Komplete... I got impatient and bought the download while waiting for Komplete.. and now I have no clue what to get :p

    G'daY!
Just a quick question about Komplete 7 elements. I have just placed a copy on laybuy (pay off in installments) at the local music shop here in Wangaratta. BUT I am wandering if it is just a good set of sound modules or does it have/or is it sequencing software? Sorry if this is a dumb question! LOL.

You will need DAW software such as Protools or Cubase or Logic. Protools 9 is probably the best, however it isn't that cheap (I think around 700 bucks). Basically something that uses RTAS or VST plugins (protools = RTAS, VST = the rest).

For free you can get the program Audacity, which I believe has addons now for VST. I've never tried it though. I have also seen people use programs like sony vegas and all related sony programs with VST plugins.

That said, Komplete players will all work stand alone, accept you just can't record anything. You can play and test the sounds, but that's about it.
