Komplete 7 uninstall question

I have just bought Komplete 9 upgrade and already have Komplete 7. I am currently installing 9 but do I have to retain Komplete 7 on my system or can I uninstall it? Furthermore if I no longer need Komplete 7 can I pass it on and let someone else have the benefit of it 9my son in this instance)?

You cannot pass on Komplete 7 if you have an upgrade/sidegrade version of 9, as far as I know, from the NI Q/A support area. Also, 9 is a smart installer, you can install over 9, and everything that needs to be upgraded will be upgraded, you don't have to get rid of 7.

As I am not a pro, could you tell me if simple installation of Komplete 9 will disturb my songs and song settings (Cubase 5 + Komplete 7). For exemple, will the correct setting with Guitar Rig be kept (in the case of I didn't save a specific setting - working with factory settings ) ?

Otherwise, could I imagine keeping intact Komplete 7 and install Komplete 9 a new softcollection ?

All your settings should remain intact when you upgrade. They have done, for me

That mean that factory libraries order is not changed (new samples families are located at the end) or there is a sort of permanent link in order to keep the correct library.

However (if I really scary the upgrade), can I install and use simultaneously Kontakt 4 and 5? And Guitar Rig 4 and 5, etc? Do they share the same library in this case?

Last question (...), do you if the compatibility is okay btw cubase 5 and Komplete 9 ?
