komplete 8 ultimate vs komplete 9 ultimate..? Thoughts/input

I have the opportunity to purchase komplete 8 ultimate or komplete 9 ultimate, i know own maschine studio and s49,is it a no brainer,whats ultimate 9 have that ultimate 8 doesnt?...i dont know because i dont own either. Any input is much appreciated

 

9 Ultimate has everything 8 Ultimate had and more- except for Battery 3, since they introduced Battery 4 with Komplete 9. That one's too bad, because I think Battery 3's a better tool... but otherwise 9 Ultimate is the "no-brainer" choice. Komplete 9 also includes full Komplete Kontrol integration, whereas 8 didn't.

EDIT: Super-important: If you're buying Komplete used, you must make sure the seller has unregistered their serial number from their NI account (and that they include the serial number with the purchase), and also that it's not a NFR or educational license. The product will be completely worthless to you without an unclaimed, transferrable serial number. Also, you'll want to make sure it's not an upgrade or crossgrade license, unless you already own and have the qualifying products activated on your account.
