Komplete 9 Install Randomly Fails

Yeah Same. I ran the support software, sent them the data and they said "Your drive apears to be faulty"
No Sh*t sherlock?!

They finally sent it out, and it just arrived last week... Mind you it's a NFR Version... Meh!

All is good now!

I would just install the software and run the tool. Send them the details. They'll send you a new one out eventually.
Really the only best way to go about it.

 

Same here, I ran the support software and they asked me to send the hard drive to them, I got a replacement back and everything works now.

 

Hi there (anyone still out there?)
I'm experiencing same problem as previous posts - at random points the install fails with the same generic error message:

I'm using Komplete 9 DVD's (not ultimate) and trying to install on my mac's internal hardrive - I have 450GB free space.
Manually removed all NI products and tried again - got as far as DVD Kontakt Disc B and got the above error message.
The standalone applications seem to work, tried: kontakt, guitar rig, battery... tried absynth and fm8 - when starting both give me this message:

but then after a scan work ok.
Finding it very frustrating that NI (which I agree is a FANTASTIC company) still ships out faulty install discs... which reminds me several years back I had a faulty Battery 3 dvd that had to be replaced...

Any help/advice would be appreciated. I have contacted 'NI support' but trying all possible avenues to resolve the problem.
