    Hi,

I'm looking for the full specifications of tke Komplete Audio 6 audio interface, I'm using the MK1 version that has its manual in PDF version and the technical specs section is very poor and incomplete, you only see information about line and headphone output (very incomplete) and nothing about inputs.

I looked documentation about the new MK2 version to see if I can extrapolate, but there is not even a manual available, just a web page with some technical specs but also very incomplete, the only information you can get is the "maximum output/input levels" or the "frequency response", which isn't very significant information, at least to know what kind of devices you can connect.

I don't understand why this information is not available for a "not so cheap" audio interface, I'll try to ask for this in the community support but it shows that message "[]... our Support Community is currently read-only [...] please go to our support home" (does anyone knows why it's closed?). I didn't find either that information in the support pages.

I miss lot of information that its very important in deciding, for example, what headphone impedance to connect, what microphone sensitivity is the best supported:
    • Input Impedance of all inputs (mid, inst and line) and which of them are balanced or unbalanced
    • Output Impedance of all outputs and which of them are balanced or unbalanced
    • Gain Range of all inputs with a gain knob (+X dB to +X dB) (at least the mic input)
    • Mic input dynamic range in dB A-Weighted
    • Maximum input and output levels (at least in the MK2 this is documented by not in the MK1)
    • Are the line inputs/outputs using consumer line level (-10 dBV) or pro level (+4dBu)?
    • Are the combined XLR/TSR inputs balanced only in the XLR version or also when used as TSR?
    • Is the phantom power available in the XLR version of combined inputs or is also available when used as TSR?

Does anyone have that information for the MK1 version? or at least the MK2 version? Although It's seem that some specs have changed from version to version, at least we have something for the headphone outputs:
    Mk1: Headphone Max Output Level: 9.3dBu 4.26V rms, 100mW @ 100 Ohms
    Mk2: Headphone Max Output Level: 2x 25mW @ 33 Ohms

They didn't give the same kind of information but at least it seems they changed a lot the impedance of the output, so can I trust that information to decide what's the best impedance for a headphone now that there is a lot range to choose in the market from 32, 80, 250, 600?

    Thanks,
    Pedro

Thank you very much, but I already knew that page, and it's the page I was referring to when I wrote this "I looked documentation about the new MK2 version to see if I can extrapolate, but there is not even a manual available, just a web page with some technical specs but also very incomplete, the only information you can get is the "maximum output/input levels" or the "frequency response", which isn't very significant information, at least to know what kind of devices you can connect."

And that is the reason I was looking for full specs, at least the impedances of output/inputs and the gain range of the mic preamps will be very useful.

I'm afraid there are no such specifications available and that's why we cannot find them :(

I've read some messages in the now read-only Support Community pages with people complaining about this (mk1 and mk2 versions), other people trying to figure out the impedance of the headphone output because they bought a 600 Ohm headphone and they didn't get good volume, and other similar stories.

so they don't want to provide full specs ... very bad policy ... you can find very complete specs from other brands of audio interfaces of similar price range or even cheaper... I don't understand this policy ...
