Hello there, I finally hope to find a way to fix my problem with your help:

I really like the Komplete Audio 6, the sound is good and I would be satisfied if not

everytime I disconnect my MacBook Pro 13" (early 2011) from the soundcard (for e.g. taking it out) and I return and replug the soundcard it won't find the soundcard again for using it. Unless I reboot.

I tried both USB slots, I also use it on a active powered Belkin USB Hub, but everytime I disconnect the Mac from the soundcard it won't find it again after repluggin.
Looking in the Audio-Setup of OSX doesn't show me the Komplete Audio 6 after re-pluggin. Only after I reboot.

I have the latest drivers and did an Update for the device firmware a couple of days ago. But still - no Plug and Play.

Many thanks in advance for your help!

I had the same problem until I realized that the Built-In Output and the KA6 were using different Samplerates (in the OSX Audio-Midi-Setup). With both devices running at the same samplerate (works with 44.1 and 48kHz) everthing is fine again. NI Support told me that this doesn't make any sense, but it works for me.
A quite simple solution, please let me know if it solved your problem.

FYI, I just tested it with Windows 7 32bit. With or without "Safe Remove Hardware" unplugging process, KA6 still can be detected. There's no need to restart the PC.

Sorry can't test it with a Mac for now.

This didn't help me. I hope they don't think it's been solved and continue to work on another update.

try reinstalling your core audio drivers, or whatever theyre called, Ive heard this has helped a person or two with similar problems to yours.

Us Win 7 users have similar, yet different problems.
