In the manual of Komplete Audio 6, there is the section "2.2 Caution" and the paragraph:
    --------------
"... Before connecting the KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 hardware to other electronic components, turn off the power for all devices. Before powering your system up or down, set all volume levels to minimum. ..."
    --------------

So if I connect a keyboard/guitar to KA6 with 1/4'' jack cables, the keyboard/guitar has to be turned off at that moment?

And what is meant by "powering the system up or down"? Does it mean that when KA6 is connected to my PC with USB cable, and I am turning on/off my PC, all KA6 volume levels have to be set to minimum? Or does it mean that when my PC is already turned on, and when I am plugging/unplugging the USB cable to/from my PC (with KA6), all KA6 volume levels have to be set to minimum?

And what could happen to KA6 if I do not respect this caution and I for example set all KA6 volume levels to maximum and then power my system up or down? Could it damage the KA6? Because I find it annoying to always adjust the KA6 volume levels before powering the system up/down, therefore I am asking this.

    put it this way...

you have powerful studio monitors connected to the KA6 and they are turned on. You then simply turn off the power to your computer.. trust me, your KA6 will be fine. You may, of course, be picking pieces of speaker cone up off the floor...but the KA6 will be fine.
